FLYING AROUND...

Glenbervie Forest spreads its 6000 hectares from Whangarei to the iconic Tutukaka Coast diving spots and beaches.

Bring your shoes, backpack and hiking-poles... Glenbervie Forest is a great place to wander along kilometres of peaceful paths. A mixture of pines and native trees offers shelter to many birds; keep your ears open!

Never heard of Glenbervie Mountain Biking? Daredevil riders enjoy here an ever expanding network of exciting trails. The forest is also meshed with logging tracks, much appreciated by quieter bikers.

Feeling like water? The sparkling Whangarei Falls are next door. From there, winding walkways will lead you to the Town Basin Marina. Stretch you legs, have a rest and enjoy a drink at one of the quayside cafés, whiffing the spirit of blue water salty dogs.

Fed up with outdoors? No... Ok, jump in your car and hop into Whangarei's friendliest indoor climbing Vertical Playground.

Creating the ultimate
swinging entertainment

5 circuits, 60 activities, up to 12m high!

Zip wire, Spider Web, Tarzan Jump, Pirate's Net, Dizzy Bridge, Crazy Swings, and of course many Flying Fox are on the menu! We won't describe now all the activities, because we are sure you do love SURPRISES... However, the park is also open to Spectators, so feel free to have a look before!

PRACTICE: Start with a fun practice on the White circuit. Once you are familiar with the safety gear and procedures, you will be directed to the aerial circuits.

DISCOVERY: Ranging from 3m to 5m high, the Yellow circuit is the perfect place to discover height and instability. Be prepared to slide, jump and even wriggle out of the Snake Pass.

ADVENTURE: Ready for a great adventure? On the Green circuit, you experience longer activities, more swing and thrill… until a smooth landing into the Bosco’s net.

CHALLENGE: The Blue circuit will drive you higher and faster. A very special high-speed Flying Fox will throw you at more than 10m/s,- hang on in there!

ADRENALIN: To challenge the Red circuit, you have to climb up to 12m high. Take a deep breathe for the Tarzan Jump!

For safety reasons, Blue and Red circuits are not accessible to short children (you need to reach 1.8m arm up, that's usually from 12 years old).
